Foodie Friday – Turkey Chili Recipe

Quick & Healthy Turkey Chili

Great to come home to on these winter nights!!

Serves 3-4

  • 1 Red onion
  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • Cup of Beef stock
  • 400g Tinned Diced Tomatoes
  • Tin Red Kidney Beans
  • ½ Carton Cherry Tomatoes
  • ½ tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp. cumin
  • ½ tsp. mixed herbs
  • Coriander to taste
  • Seasoning


Set a big pot to medium heat, use an oil of your choice (I used coconut spray oil) sauté the onion, add the turkey mince until browned (few minutes), add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a simmer. Leave to simmer for 30 minutes.

I rustled this up mid-afternoon and had it later that evening. I find one pots taste nicer an evening or day after being cooked! It had too much of a kick for me so I added some milk to dull it down a tad! Feel free to add any vegetables you like to the pot or to serve on the side.  I served mashed chive carrots with mine. Yum yum!
